Obviously, I'm a blogging flunkie. When months, rather than days or weeks go by between posts, you must be a blogging flunkie. And yet, I don't want to close up shop and let my domain go.
The thing is, I'm not in a blogging frame of mind lately. There's a lot going on in my state and our country that's making me mad, so there's plenty to write about. But I don't particularly want to be an angry blogger. I've always written about my little boy and miscellaneous nonsense here. If I start blogging about what's pissing me off, I doubt it will have much appeal to those who've read here for years. So for now, my little space is sitting here quietly, while I think about what to do.
In the meantime, I'm starting to think about sending my almost 5-year-old to kindergarten in the fall. We're having fun together, and I'm making a point of not wishing this time away... Soon enough, he won't want anything to do with me!

You're right about how fast the time goes! My baby starts high school in the fall (and you're right--she doesn't want anything to do with me).

I ,for one, would love to hear you expound on whatever subject. Go ahead and get mad. I think I am pretty much at the same point as you are. I also feel a little intimidated by those who blog with so much more eloquence on such subjects. And I find myself to be busy , although doing what I can't exactly say.There is something to be said for doing things you wish you had time to blog about, rather than having the time and nothing to say.

I just commented on another blog who said the same thing- should she blog about what is frustrating her or not. I say write what you feel. Maybe if more people made their feelings known more people would realize they aren't alone.

I know how you feel. Some days, I just don't have it in me to post anything. Best to not force it than hit the publish button on something that's there simply to fill space.
Glad you're enjoying your last bits of pre-K time with your little man. I wouldn't trade that time with ours for everything. Precious only begins to describe the experience - and HIM, of course!
Still, we miss your voice.
