... she's going to want time to update it.
And if she has time to update it, she's going to need energy and at least half an ounce of creativity to write something.
And if she has energy and a wee bit of creativity, then who wants to sit at the computer when she doesn't have to?
----------------------------------------
My blogging mojo is low. Obviously -- it's been several days since I've updated this blog!
I've shifted from full-time work-at-home-Mom to part-time work-at-home Mom, and while that is wonderful, I can easily sum up my days: I play with and take care of my son, and when I'm not with him, I'm at the computer working. I'm trying to figure out how to carve out a little time for the things I enjoy. And I'm looking for a babysitter so that I can spend a little time alone with my husband now and then!
Shifting gears...
My little guy's preschool class went on a field trip today - his first ever! I went too, and it was a blast. All the kids and parents piled onto a wagon pulled by a tractor, for a ride out to a pumpkin patch. The kids each selected a small pumpkin and then walked over to the apple trees and each picked an apple. It was so much fun seeing the kids together, and I enjoyed getting to chat with some of the other moms.

So I ask... how do y'all juggle it all?

Caffeine. Lots and lots of caffeine. ;)

heh. I don't even have a child and I can't balance it all. I remain unbalanced by saying "Yes" to just a few more commitments and activities that I can sanely complete. If you find the answer, please let me know. In the meantime, enjoy every second with your family!

I took a few months off. It's very freeing when you give yourself permission to do that. I just didn't come when I didn't want to come, and for a while I thought i'd never blog again. I'm back though.. who knows for how long. And you know, i posted on some friend's blogs, and linked to some of the old gang, and after a few days it's as if I was never gone.

It's exhausting. When you have little people, the only free time for yourself is if the spouse takes them and then you can do something. Other than that, I had NO free time for me. (When they're in bed is pretty much it.)
My kids are older now, and I'm working PT outside the house when they are at school and I'm still terminally exhausted, but... its less exhausting then it when when they were your little dude's age. I am able to readily find time for me now.
It gets easier...

If you figure it out, let me know!

Um, do you really expect an answer??? Everyone has to find her own balance based on her priorities and what is financially feasible for her family. Basically, you CANNOT have it all. Something has to give--housework being at the top of my "give" list.

Nope, not expecting an answer.... ;-) Just venting & commiserating!

I can't imagine working outside the home. As it is I have a very detailed Excel spreadsheet with my schedule- what I get to do when. It kind of works...
