Like I'm going to be able to get any work done now that it's in the house. All I want to do is play with it, learn how it works, and fill 'er up with good stuff!
Music. Pictures. Even video!
And I have to set a bunch of FM stations on it, too. Just because it can do that.
I want to accessorize it. (Why doesn't the spell checker like that word? Doesn't everyone accessorize?) The case is on its way. I need a car adapter. I need better headphones. I will need speakers very soon. Good speakers.
And OH MY GOODNESS! I'm leaving the dark ages!
Even though in five years my son will roll his eyes at it, because by then everyone will have a little chip for an earring that brings in everything by satellite. And he'll say "Mom, that thing is SO 2007!"
And I'll say, "Well,... well,... well, you should see my vintage SONY Sport walkman. Yeah. It used CASSETTE TAPES. You won't be laughing at me when I cash in that puppy on eBay. So there..."
Anyway. We've only just met, but I already love my Zen! I have 30GB to fill. And I'm so excited!

Congratulations! I was really late to the iPod bandwagon, just got one last summer, and I'm so glad i did!

Have fun! I don't have one, but I still use my Sony Walkman cassette player to listen to books on tape.

For some reason I read "all I want to do is feel it up." Maybe that's because I keep getting that here. ;-)
Supah impressive, there, dawling. I'm tres jealous.

Hehe... May you never look back. But hold onto that Walkman. It might be worth something one day and your son won't be laughing then!!

Ohhh... too cool. I have my Shuffle, and though it's so low-tech now, it makes exercising so much more tolerable.

Awesome! Have FUN filling it up! It took me a few month to fill my teensy 15 gig iPod, but now I've emptied and refilled it several times over. I see no reason to get one of the new video ones, since this one serves me well (I even changed the battery all by myself!)
Allow me to send you a song to add to your Zen?

Very cool, hope you still have time to blog!

Jill,
Yep, I'm way late too! Thing is, the longer you wait, the more bang you get for your buck... I'm amazed by what this thing can do!
BGM,
That's a good idea. I just unearthed mine the other day -- it's in perfect condition.
Mrs. F,
Haha! You are the queen of techno gadgets, no?
Melody,
Exactly!
Sarcasmom,
Exactly! Now if only I could find time to play with it!
Kristi,
Amazing little things, huh?
Nat,
Thank you! Thank you!
Barbara,
Ha! Right now the Zen is sitting in its box... no time to play yet!
