We're friends, right? So, we can talk about these things.
We all have it from time to time, though it may not be "lady-like" to admit it and discuss. Allow me to admit...
I'm talking about B.O.
Body odor.
Specifically, underarm perspiration and its accompanying scents.
Our current heatwave has sent me running, not walking, to my local drug store -- in search of The Best Anti-perspirant / Deoderant Known To Man. I notice that every so often, my body becomes immune to the chemicals in my deoderant of choice, and I have to switch brands. It's a rude awakening when this reality strikes mid-heatwave. Trust me.
Anyway. Have you noticed the abundance of fragrances available for covering up your natural scent? The choices are overwhelming.
One brand offers Shower Fresh, Spring Breeze, Powder Fresh, "Regular," Ambition (??!!), Genuine (I'm guessing that one may be unpleasant), Optimism (!!??), Glacier Mist, Ocean Breeze, and Mystic Rain.
Then there are Peach Shimmer, Berry Sparkle, Tropical Radiance, Luminous Lily, and Vanilla.
Umm, this is deoderant -- right? For ARM PITS.
Let's see, today's Tuesday... ahh yes, my day for Glacier Mist! Ahhh.
Oh, how I look forward to Wednesday, when my pits will sparkle with Luminous Lily!
Right.
How about you? What's your brand & scent? Do you have one that you swear by?
Bonus points for anyone who guesses my real "scent" -- the only one I buy no matter the brand.

Optimism? I am confused by that. Why do one's armpits need to smell...optimistic? I use Secret Baby Powder scent. Seems to do the trick...or so I hope.

I use my husband's Gillette deoderant. I buy it for myself! Secret has never worked for me and the women's antipersperants tend to crap out half way through the day...

I use Dove Baby Powder. ;-)

Secret sucks in heat waves.
Your scent? Power Fresh.

I don't sweat much, so I use this stuff sparingly, but I like Dry Idea unscented!

I'm a Rexona girl myself. I swapped brands one roll-on ago and it didn't work. Never again!

Kristi,
So, you're saying that you're optimistic that yours is working? ;-)
Lucinda,
Hmm. I need to try that. I'll have to buy my own, as my hub uses Musk.
VW,
I've never tried Dove. There are soooo many choices. When you go to make a switch it's overwhelming.
Raehan,
You're not kidding. My scent is actually no scent! I'm a strictly unscented kind of gal.
Nat,
You are lucky! I think I make up for your lack of perspiration.
Melody,
I've never heard of Rexona. Maybe it's an Aussie product?
