So, the mother-in-law is visiting for New Year's. She arrived yesterday, bearing stocking stuffers galore: dried fruit, tissue packs, chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. This is good because we were going to be able to zip our pants if we didn't get more chocolate soon.
Anyway, we each got a personalized chocolate gift - giant foil-covered "coins" with our zodiac signs & information about them. I'm not into astrology, but I usually fit the bill for my sign. That is the case with my chocolate coins too, for the most part.
My coins read:
Virgo
Modest and shy
Meticulous and reliable
Practical and diligent
Intelligent and analytical
Me: I'd say that's me, except for the shy part.
Hubby: And there goes the modesty!
Crap. How'd I miss that?

Too funny! I personally am crazy about tea! Happy New Year. Lazy Daisy

Wow. I'd say that's pretty dead-on for you. And I know what you mean about the holiday food overload. Ugh! Thank God for elastic-waist pajama bottoms.

My husband has a way of humbling me too. We have a plethor of cookies around here.

There can never be enough chocolate. It cures all and makes everyone delightful :)

Funny! Doesn't pay to be shy and retiring anyway, so toot your own horn, I always say!

That's great. Nice to know someone else is not modest. Then again, I read what it said about Leos. I loved this line:
Lions are indeed opinionated and set in their ways.

Tee Hee.... I'm a Virgo too, and the sign fits me to a "T".
