Psst. I have a tip! Do you need a new pair of jeans? I know where you can get a great deal. There's a catch, sort of...
As a Bargain Betty, I often scout out finds from clearance racks and overstock flyers. At the end of the season, LLBean has its odd-colored clothing left -- the ones that no one wanted; they sell them cheaply and I buy them. I really don't like paying full price for certain things; it just goes against my grain. So I have some really attractive pale blue old-lady shorts and a peachy-salmony colored top, too. Yes, I'm a fashionista.
I recently decided I needed a new pair of jeans. I love my Lands End jeans, but our outlet store (they call it an inlet, actually) was all out last time I checked. I turned to my online friend with free shipping -- LLBean. I was going through the clearance pages on their web site and found these jeans. Beautiful. Relaxed fit -- just what I like. Nice shade of blue. Fantastic price -- under $20 for jeans! Oh, and they have built-in bug repellent. There's actually a man-made substance like the chrysanthemum plant bonded into the material. These are the first jeans I've bought that have been approved by the EPA.
Anyway, when my new Buzz-off jeans arrived last week, I was sooo excited. I love a new pair of jeans. The fit is great, and you wouldn't know that there was anything different about them.
So there's my tip. A great pair of jeans -- really comfy and well-made, AND approved by the EPA. The insect-protection is good for 25 washings. Not that I was looking for that feature, but for $17.95 I will give it a try!
Update: The Buzz-off technology seems to be working. I wore the jeans to a meeting this morning & no one bugged me. (wink)

Hmmmmm...bug repellent jeans. They could be the next big thing for sure. Now I need to get my to look into these things.

Very cool. I struggle so much buying jeans, but these are nice ones.

That's hysterical. Bug-repellant jeans! What will they think of next. Jeans are such a pain to buy. I wonder why it's so hard for companies to tailor jeans to fit real women's bodies?

Yippeee. I'll have to give these a try. For some reason my hubby doesn't like my 'holey' jeans.
