I've been tagged by Anita at Fighting Inertia to do this meme that's going around. In the name of blogging fun, I shall comply! Wonder what would happen if I didn't? Would the boss of all blogs blow a big horn in my face?
Watch out, you may be next!
The idea is to pick 5 of the following and then complete the sentences. Then pass this little meme on to 3 more of your blog friends!
But no tag backs!
If I could be a scientist…
If I could be a farmer…
If I could be a musician…
If I could be a doctor…
If I could be a painter…
If I could be a gardener…
If I could be a missionary…
If I could be a chef…
If I could be an architect…
If I could be a linguist…
If I could be a psychologist…
If I could be a librarian…
If I could be an athlete…
If I could be a lawyer…
If I could be an inn-keeper…
If I could be a professor…
If I could be a writer…
If I could be a llama-rider…
If I could be a bonnie pirate…
If I could be an astronaut…
If I could be a world famous blogger…
If I could be a justice on any one court in the world…
If I could be married to any current famous political figure…
And now for my 5 selections and riveting responses:
If I could be a musician, I'd be in heaven. I'd learn to play the guitar, piano, and fiddle. I'd sing like Alison Krauss too, and I'd be the first 39-year old American Idol.
If I could be a gardener, I'd have TONS of strawberry plants to satisfy my strawberry cravings.
If I could be an inn-keeper, I would hire a staff so that I'd have people to wait on me hand and foot in my lovely inn.
If I could be a chef, I'd have a 6-burner professional stove, and the best of every kind of cookware and gadgetry. I'd have my fresh supplies delivered daily. I'd have more work space than you can imagine, including a walk-in pantry and a very large butcher block island.
If I could be a librarian, I'd LOVE helping people with research, as I'm a sleuth at heart, but I'd probably be fired because sometimes I talk and laugh LOUDLY, and that would be very unlibrarianly of me.
Now I have to go tag some others. I'll go post my TAGS on their sites & come back with my list of taggees...
I'm back. I've tagged Tammy at A Mom and Her Blog, because she probably could use a little time out of that lovely Florida sunshine.
I've also tagged Elle at Ellemental, who can get a song stuck in your head in just a moment at her site! Plus, she's cool.
And Katie at Ramblings of a SAHM, because with 5 kids and adorable jean skirts to be made, she has SO much spare time on her hands.
Really, this isn't painful, and it's even kind of fun. Really!

Oh no, I'm it! lol
Funny that both you and Anita mentioned being a librarian. My mom is one and she's anything but quiet. In fact the library is one of the gossip centers of her small town. hehe

Hey Marie,
Thanks for making me it! :) That was fun!

Cool meme. I just got an email from someone wanting to know who the author to "98 Pound Weakling" is. Pretending you are a librarian, do you know??

Cool deal! I'm NEVER it. :)
Thanks for the tag!

Look at that! Two Elles in a row! Ellediem... a quick search at bn.com shows no matches for that title, and a google search shows 4700+ hits. Any more info? Is it a published book?

Katie,
Funny that it's a gossip center! I guess that makes sense. Maybe that's why I like libraries... they're like Command Central!

Well now, I'm a musician (not professional)...my wife is a chef.
I'm living 2/3 your dream life.

I was tagged with this one, too. I love your answers! If that chef thing ever comes to be, let me know - I'll be your taste-tester! ;)
