Awww. Those little toothy grins are cute, but I do have to say that I *love* the toothless ones. I was always a little sorry to see them go when my kids got their teeth.

I hope it wasn't too torturous - on your little man, OR you!

Marie

Hi Christine,
He seems to be taking it like a trooper! I always keep a cool teether in the fridge & when he fusses a little, I give him one. Just have to be careful now when he suctions his little mouth to my face (I think those are kisses!).

I can tell this is one of many bittersweet transitions... before we know it he'll move on from crawling. And THAT is so dang cute!

Ok, now you've got me teary eyed. Not about the tooth, but about the suction of the face. My oldest son kissed that very same way. I must have kinda forgotten about it, but your comment just brought the memory flooding back.

Sigh :)

Congrats on the tooth!

Oh, so much to look forward to! But I am loving my little gummy baby... Everyone tells me it will go by so fast. She's 11 weeks old now. How did that happen???

Marie

Aww, Anita. It is the sweetest, huh? I never imagined I'd melt the way I do with a tiny mouth latched on to my cheek or nose. He makes the most contented sounds when he does it... must be kisses!

Jody, it all seems like a flash. My boy is 10 months old today. I'm really trying to savor each day. That sounds awfully hokey, but I keep seeing that once he moves on to the next stage, that's that... he's not going back!

Anita

Oh, it is so definitely kisses! Enjoy every delicious one.
